It is a great place to have a picnic and swim. The pool area has 3 main springs. These were the main pool next to the diving board, next to the spring on the right looking towards the spillway and the other on the left. These 3 springs ranged from 15 to 30 feet deep. Consequently, due to the strong pressure under the main pool, the Americans inserted a steel drum to reduce the strong water pressure. That’s why the water is very calm and you can’t see any pressure inside the pool either.

Nasuli Spring was previously maintained by SIL (Summer Institute of Linguistics). According to Wikipedia, SIL is a US-based, global, non-profit Christian institution whose primary goal is to study, develop, and document different languages, particularly those that are lesser-known, so that they can broaden linguistic knowledge, encourage reading and writing, translate the religious Holy Bible into localized languages, and assist minority language development. On those days, there is absolutely no entrance fee. But after several years, Nasuli Spring passed into the hands of the Ducusin family, the first owner of the place. Now they charge P10.00 per person for the maintenance and growth and development of the resort.

At the entrance you will see habal-habal (motorcycles) that will take you to the spring. However, you can also take a walk for less than a kilometer from the road. Also, you must bring your own personal food and snacks as there are no stores in the surrounding area. The picnic ground is quite clean and some people use it for photo shoots.

Nasuli Spring is certainly a memorable place for me. We used to come here almost every weekend together with my loved ones. I remember when I was a child; We used to go with our relatives who live near the Nasuli Spring pool. At such times, I still don’t know how to swim, but just looking at the spring waters tends to make me feel at ease and relaxed. We also collect many types of fruits such as Johey Oak and Tico berry which are planted near the pool spillway. We also used to join the Sunrise Service during Lent Season at Nasuli airport runway.

Today, Nasuli Spring Resort is still visited by many locals. Due to the icy spring water that naturally gushes from its pond, many visitors visit the place and feel the refreshing satiation of the Bukidnon water. So when you have planned to go swimming, stop by Nasuli Spring Resort and feel the thrill of Bukidnon nature.
