Like most people, I could handle losing a few pounds. I do the best I can when it comes to diet and exercise, like trying to make healthy food choices whenever possible and jogging or doing other cardio at least 5 times a week, but apparently that’s not enough to get rid of some of my Abdominal fat. . After reading a bit about the weight loss properties of green tea, I decided to include this drink in my daily routine to see if I finally found the missing element.

Some people are already aware of the many proven benefits of green tea for weight loss, but many are not. After all, if everyone knew just how much this refreshing drink could help in the seemingly never-ending quest to lose weight, then we could see a turnaround in sales figures within the beverage industry. Forget diet sodas and those sugar-laden flavored teas; people would jump on the green tea weight loss bandwagon in droves!

One of the most important green tea weight loss benefits for dieters is that it helps you burn more fat. This drink contains high amounts of polyphenols, an antioxidant that has been shown to improve your health in many ways. For example, polyphenols are good for the skin and can prevent wrinkles. Polyphenols are also a critical component in dissolving triglycerides, which are essentially the chemical form of fat after it is broken down in the body. In other words, you can help shed excess fat and maybe even lower cholesterol simply by having a refreshing drink.

People who have tried green tea weight loss diets have also reported that they often have more energy after consuming this drink, which helps them exercise longer and, by extension, also increases their metabolism. I know that even when I’m eating well, sometimes I don’t have enough energy to get through the day. I get sluggish in the late afternoon which can result in a poor workout. Or, if things are really bad, I could skip my training altogether and just go home after work to take a nap. So I could definitely benefit from any extra energy this drink can provide. And no, the boost doesn’t just come from the caffeine. Those who are familiar with the weight loss properties of green tea seem to think that the jolt comes primarily from the catechin polyphenols in the drink.

Anyway, I’m excited to get started on this green tea weight loss program that I’ve read about. I like the fact that I won’t have to change my lifestyle much or make big sacrifices. I’ll just replace a glass or two of water (and maybe one of the Diet Cokes I drink throughout the day) with this healthier alternative and see where it takes me. I hope this is the breakthrough I’ve been looking for!
