Am I too fat for a corset? Hell no!

I get asked this question all the time and the answer is simple ~ NO! No one is too fat or too skinny, if you want to wear a corset then you should! Who stops you? Society or self-confidence? Don’t let either of them stop you, why should I? As for people’s opinions, that’s their problem, not yours.

I once put a picture in an article of a woman who was about a size 26 in a corset and some people were outraged, saying I was promoting obesity etc. That’s nonsense, I’m simply saying that if YOU want to wear a corset then you should. If I had put a corset on an anorexic girl, I probably would have had the same response. Sometimes I will never win, but my point will always be the same: we are all women, we should empower each other and support each other, since when did size get in the way? Unfortunately, there are some very shallow ones in this world, but I believe that we are all the same, no matter what size we are, how much money we have in the bank, or whether we are straight, bi, or gay. What difference should these things make to other people?

No one should be judged by their size (or anything else), whether it’s a size 0 or a size 26. I’m a size 10, I was a size 14 at one point, but I wasn’t comfortable in that size, so I changed it. But that’s just me and I know that not everyone is like me and that’s great, why would we all want to be the same? IF I had been comfortable in my size, shape, or skin, I could have stayed a 14. The point is, if you’re comfortable in your skin, hug your body and wear a corset if you want. Corsets are amazing creations that come in all sizes, patterns and fabrics and should be loved by all women alike, it’s just a matter of finding the right corset for your particular size and shape and the styles you prefer, whether it’s a corset over the bust or one under. bust corset

If you are not very confident but would love to have a corset, go for it with a steel boned corset and I would recommend an underbust corset. That way you can wear it over shirts, tops and most tops and feel confident and not too exposed.

Don’t let others tell you how to dress, dress for yourself and be yourself, lady.
