For a child is born to us, a son is given to us, and the principality is on his shoulder; and his name will be called Wonderful of him, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6).
If you ever find yourself in a difficult, adverse, or challenging situation, this scripture verse is your ticket out of trouble and into life victorious. When you fully understand the power and importance of writing above, you will find that you can never be at a disadvantage. The way this scripture is translated in the King James Version of the Bible makes it a bit obscure. As a result, many people do not fully understand its meaning.
You see, in the original Hebrew translation of Isaiah 9:6, there is no punctuation between the words “Wonderful” and “Counselor.” It actually says, “Wonderful Counselor.” You will notice that the other words in this scripture are dualized: The Mighty God, The Eternal Father, The Prince of Peace”, the prophet was actually being poetic in his praise of the Son of God. So when he said “he will be called Counselor wonderful”, actually means “Strategist Extraordinary!” In other words, he is wise and powerful enough to get his children out of seemingly impossible situations. He knows exactly which strategies are so divinely flawless that they can only be described as “extraordinary”. “He’s the strategist extraordinaire.
For example, when the children of Israel were hemmed in with the Egyptian soldiers behind them and the Red Sea in front of them (Exodus 14:10), they were afraid and Moses did not know what to do because there seemed to be no way out. But Strategist Extraordinary had a plan! He led the children of Israel through the Red Sea on dry ground. That’s Strategist Extraordinary. His name is Jesus.
As far as He is concerned, there is no such thing as a dead end because He cannot be confused. He is the personification of ALL wisdom and knowledge (Colossians 2:3). No matter what crisis you have found yourself in, He knows the way out; He knows exactly what to do to get you out of the dilemma. If you have been living on charity from your family, friends or government, he knows how to get out of poverty. He knows how you can get out of that darkness. Besides, He lives within you! The Holy Spirit has brought his presence directly into your spirit. He takes advantage of his wisdom today and come out of all darkness in your life; advance from victory to victory, with your Strategist Extraordinary.
