Early in the morning he went up with the usual routine. He went to the fields to bring food for the animals that he had in his house and that were his only source of income. He had three daughters and two sons. The eldest daughter married four months ago and married with a large dowry. Since her father was poor and could not get her that expensive dowry, an uncle of hers helped them establish the value of the luxury so that she would gain the so-called respect in her “in-laws” of hers. When he returned home, he saw that his wife seemed worried. Tears flowed from his eyes. He asked her why her wife kept silent for some time.
He was also a heart patient. He insisted to which she replied that her uncle has asked her for all that money that he invested in her daughter’s wedding. At first she was surprised. He was aware of her respect that he was the only thing he had. As the rumors spread, people started asking him about the matter. Someone asked him to be aware of his ability at her daughter’s wedding, but he couldn’t control it because he was happy for her daughter’s delight. But I know that the situation was something else. She had to return the money in any case. He was a poor farmer and had part of the land that was a source of income for his family. To defend his self-esteem, she sold that land and somehow paid that man back. Since that day I have seen that man scattered and he never talks much. After that incident, time passed, that uncle who had two children living abroad didn’t even have time to take care of his father who was sick for the past two years. He is in bed for the last time, there is no one to take care of him, the only thing that is with him is his useless money that cannot satisfy the needs of his own.
