You have no control over how much gas prices will go up. What you can control is the amount of mileage you get from your vehicle, whether you’re driving a small two-door or the mother of all gas-guzzling SUVs. This can be done by using hydrogen gas as a supplement to gasoline.

intrigued? He has probably heard of this technology before and thought, “If the answer is so simple, why hasn’t it been globally integrated?” That’s because the technology behind it is simple; Politics however, not so much. But we won’t go into that.

Hydrogen is the most abundant element on Earth and the best place to find it is in water. However, for hydrogen to take a useful form, it must be removed. This is done through electrolysis. The process involves passing electrical currents through water to separate it into hydrogen and oxygen.

The technology can be applied to vehicles to dramatically increase fuel economy and possibly double, even triple gas mileage through the use of HHO (Hybrid Hydrogen Oxygen) kits. These kits are relatively inexpensive and generally consist of a water reservoir or “hydrogen generator”, tubes and vacuum hoses that connect to the inlet. Your battery will provide the currents to electrolyze the water, so there will also be some simple wiring to do. Once the hydrogen gas is extracted, it will travel to the combustion chamber. Hydrogen gas also acts as a coolant for the combustion of gasoline.

So can we use hydrogen as a fuel for motor vehicles? Absolutely! The result is a vehicle that runs smoother and quieter, produces cleaner emissions and is more fuel efficient, ultimately saving you thousands of dollars each year.
