Have you ever wanted to write something so powerful or so captivating, be it a form of poetry, a piece of creative writing, or anything that would really take your reader’s mind and twist it to absolutely love it, or be worth it? quote? Well, that’s what power words are for, power words can literally take a bland sentence or phrase and transform it into something so delightful, so intriguing, so strong, that even you will be surprised that it came from you. If you’re not sure what I mean, here’s an example. Here’s a bland phrase, which means almost nothing:

You are as deep as you make yourself.

Ok, that’s good, nothing we haven’t heard before.

Now let’s read the same sentence, transformed with powerful words:

You are as deep as the universe within you.

See the difference? It’s the same sentence as before, only this time with more meaning, more possibility, more reason. Here are some good examples of words that are power words and words that really aren’t.

No words of power:
Diamond, glitter, confused.

words of power:
gem or jewel Shine, exhausted.

You should see a big difference, a power word doesn’t necessarily mean a big word, just a word with more explanation, more “Power”. Instead of using normal everyday words, replace them with powerful and meaningful words. Try writing your own sentences using regular words, then practice writing the same sentence, but using some powerful words that come to mind. Choose an additional Dictionary, or Thesaurus, to practice using powerful words for everyday use. Almost all the most famous philosophers, writers, poets and musical artists use powerful words to complete their arsenal of creative writing, try it yourself.
