Live! It is Christmas time and celebration of the hope of glory. Everything is subject to the authority of Christ. An understanding of this will put a smile on your face. This article encourages you to see the birth of Christ as the answer to his challenge.

Because a Child is born to us, a Son is given to us; And the principality will be on his shoulder. And he will be called his name, Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace-Isaiah 9:6 (NIV).

And she will give birth to a son, and you shall call his name JESUS, for he will save his people from their sins – Matthew 1:21 (NIV).

Jesus is the reason for the season. The birth of Christ is for the rise and fall of many things in your life; fall of all that is not of God and rise of all that God ordained for you. The birth of the Lord is basically for your good if you receive it.

Christ came for a purpose

God is a God of purpose, everything he does has a purpose and the birth of Christ has a purpose as well. He came to save us from our sins, do wonderful works, and give us peace and life in abundance. He also came to destroy the works of the devil, heal us with his wounds and free those who through fear of death were subject to servitude all their lives. Furthermore, to all who take the yoke of Christ upon them, He will give rest to their souls.

Everything is subject to Christ.

All creation, including the devil and his agents, is subject to Jesus. He did Everything, by Him and for Him; without Him nothing that has been made was made and He heads principalities and powers. So, everything (even the dead) listens to his voice and does what he commands.

As such, walking in this truth will cause you to live above the limitations and oppression of the enemy, and enjoy all the blessings that Christ gives. So whatever the challenge in your life is, be subject to Christ and it will give way when you stand firm in the finished work of Jesus. He is the answer to your challenge.
