Fatty deposits on the eyelids just don’t look good. The fat is thick, oily, viscous and dense. Fat is found under the skin between the muscles and in all the familiar places we hate for it to be.
And the fat is behind the eyeballs in a place that is very helpful to us, unless it is excessive.
If you have fatty deposits on your eyelids, you may also have excessive thirst, slow metabolism, fluid retention, and love to sit and read or maybe even love to sleep a lot.

Can you also be skinny and have fat deposits on your eyelids? too skinny is also an imbalance of fat metabolism.

Do your feet or hands ever burn? Or do you have multiple boils? These are real obstacles to your beauty and are also health problems. These symptoms are related to fatty deposits on the eyelids and other places.

The first step in eliminating the deleterious effect of fatty deposits on the eyelids is to recognize them as part of a longstanding health imbalance. Understand that it is related to your heart, liver, and possibly your thyroid.

You can do a test in Ayurveda to measure your fat and find out if your fat metabolism is altered. Measure the width of the skin around the belly, chest, buttocks, and hips with a common sewing tape measure. Do this every day. Do this weekly and compare. You will start to see the metabolism pattern of your body.

Check your weight before eating. Eat your average meal. If you gain a half pound or more an hour after your meal, this is an indicator that you have a slow metabolism.

If you have fatty deposits on the eyelids, Ayurveda recommends practicing a specific diet for your daily beauty.

Avoid salt, alcohol, red meat, hard cheeses and, of course, fatty or fried foods.

The following herbs are the Ayurvedic recommendations to restore good fat metabolism. But, consult an Ayurvedic practitioner if he decides to use them; in Ayurveda, each body is different and needs expert advice on how to apply it to your unique needs. Trikatu, cumin, coriander and fennel are excellent for restoring healthy fat metabolism. If you cook with them regularly they are like a miracle for a person with fatty accumulations and obesity.

Ayurveda recommends as a daily chant: “Exercise, Exercise, Exercise.” This is the mantra for the person who has this beauty problem. Also recommended is the breathing exercise known as the lion, in which you open your mouth like a lion, roar and exhale, stick out your tongue and scream. The other type of breathing is Bhastrika, which is a forced exhalation and inhalation.

Emotional stress is a direct link to fat. The neuroemotional science that explains stress and fat metabolism in the body has been mapped. Therefore, there is no discussion as to whether this is true or not. I could spend the next five years reading all the material that already exists on the subject in modern science today. Just be aware of your need to exercise, eat spicy foods, light foods, and do the breathing exercises that I have mentioned. Fat deposits on the eyelids are definitely a beauty challenge and it is a wake up call about the health of your fat metabolism.

The body types that Ayurveda focuses on if you have fat deposits on your eyelids are KaphaVata, KaphaPitta and Kapha predominant, and Vata body types if your fat metabolism is unbalanced are also affected.
