We’ve all heard cliches like “Dogs are man’s best friend.”

But have you ever wondered why? I’ll tell you my belief …

Dogs are loyal to the extreme.

Animals find joy in the simplest and smallest things.

They have no need for excuses or pretenses, they are just themselves.

They go to sleep free from daily worries and wake up each morning with a blank slate, ready to face the world with fresh eyes and spirit.

Her dynamism, resilience, devotion, determination, and optimism are contagious.

However, many animals also have an innate sense when someone needs support. They do not always assume the worry … they simply reach out to comfort a person who is suffering.

Not every dog, cat or horse will be a therapy animal that is trained for hospital care, as a service animal or companion in times of crisis …

But you must know that your pet is picking up your signals at all times.

Your horse will feel the tension in you and try to make sense of it, then decide how to help you with that.

Your dog will follow you around the house when he reads negative energy trying to figure out what is wrong and how to help him.

You may think they are a pest, especially when you are feeling agitated. Stop and receive the gift of their love for what it is, and talk to them about what’s bothering you. You’ll feel better about it, and when you know how to talk to animals, they can tell you what they think too.

Animals understand when things go wrong, but they lack the power to fix them … or do they?

Pets will not allow you to withdraw, isolate or wrap yourself

It’s very difficult to socialize in today’s world … and that can magnify depression, anxiety, and feelings of isolation.

Your pet needs your care and attention during good times. They need to play with you, go for a walk with you, learn from you. And, during bad times, they still need all of those things, but they may feel like things are not right when you are hurting.

When your dog becomes obsessed with bringing you a toy, or seems to be scolding you for a walk, listen to him.

Your cat might be tossing and turning in your home office chair, pouncing on your computer, with the intention of distracting you … but in reality, it’s probably telling you that it’s time to change your focus.

They will often notice that their breathing has become shallow, their circulation is weakening, and their energy is failing … they worry. Time to take a break!
