Rogue is a dream class for a speed leveler due to her extremely high damage output and versatile survivability abilities. Unfortunately, most people don’t know how to play rogue, because they don’t recognize the importance of a good talent lineup or the right gear. It’s a widely accepted rule, that you should pick talents, which increase your overall damage, if you really want to level up the rogue. Unfortunately, in the case of Rogues, all three talent trees were designed to increase damage output, so it’s really hard to pick the right one. In my opinion, the best talent build for rogue leveling up is the combat tree, as this is the one that provides the highest consistent damage output for your rogue. Even though we chose the Combat tree, your first talent should be Malice, which greatly increases your critical strike chance. After that, you can start picking talents from the Combat tree, such as Dual Wield Specialization, Precision, Deflection, and Melee. These talents will turn your rogue into an unstoppable killing machine! The next talent should be Blade Flurry, which will allow you to destroy multiple mobs simultaneously! Afterwards, get Vitality and Adrenaline Rush, which will give you a huge boost to your energy regeneration, which is a critical factor in the leveling process. Surprise Attack is another great talent, because it gives you the ability to never miss your finishing moves, so you can easily kill even the toughest mobs! The last talent in the combat tree, Murder Spree is a fantastic talent as it will allow you to easily kill even a large group of mobs with ease!
Gear
Your most important goal is to increase your damage, therefore increasing your XP gain. Therefore, the most important stat for you is agility. Agility will increase both your attack power and critical hit rate. I recommend that you get as much agility as possible. Other very important stats are Attack Power and Critical Strike Rate, but Agility is usually better as it increases both stats. Choosing the right weapon can be really difficult, as many people don’t know what the best weapon for a rogue is. It’s best to choose a slow weapon for your main hand, so your special attacks do a lot of damage, and for your off-hand get a very fast one.
Conclution
