Not too long ago, Shaun t came out with his wacky, crazy exercise “Insanity.” Those who are familiar with beachbody know this exercise and those who don’t know beachbody. This became one of the toughest workout DVDs on the market due to its intense workouts.

Now Beachbody just released another intense Chalene Johnson workout called “Turbo Fire.” This is another high intensity exercise that will get your heart pumping and burn fat 9 times more than regular cardio. The question is which is better? Turbofire or madness?

What is Turbo Fire really about?
Turbo Fire uses a method called HIIT, which stands for High Intensity Interval Training. A HIIT can last anywhere from 30 seconds to a minute, but no matter how worth it, you can take just the right amount of time for a break and during that HIIT you have to give it your all.

What is madness really about?
Insanity uses a method called Max Interval Training. It takes cardio and pushing it outside the box and it makes you go intense. You do long, intense, hard workouts with short rest periods for the best results. Like most cardio, you do a certain pace and then speed it up a bit, but Insanity is the other way around.

You both don’t need weights to do this program. All they ask is that you hit the play button every day and you will see amazing results. You need to make sure you follow the nutrition guide to get those results. You can’t exercise without a good eating plan and you can’t have a good eating plan without exercise.

Now which is better? I think the question is which would be best for YOU? Everyone is different so there really is no “this is better than this”. Turbo fire is designed so that everyone can do the training. There are ways that if you haven’t worked in a while you can do it. The Madness is more for those who have worked out and want a challenge. In any of the two you give everything. However, the madness is a little easier to stick with the exercises. Turbo fire takes a while to get used to the moves, but do your best and you will succeed. Think right now which one would be better for you? Does Insanity or Turbo Fire sound good?

Before doing any of these programs, I would recommend consulting a doctor when doing such an intense workout.

So be the judge and think which one is better. Both give amazing results and make you sweat, but which one is right for you?
