With the new idea and innovation of Economy Mode, the car will be able to determine which systems in your car are not essential at the moment and turn them off to save fuel for the driver; Examples could be air conditioning, cruise controls, and others. The car would start making these adjustments automatically for the driver. In fact, it is not just an idea; some hybrids have an economy mode that limits the use of air conditioning in several models at this time.
black box technology
Planes have them and cars do too and why not the black box on planes has literally been invaluable for many years with its ability to get detailed travel logs and records of what happens to a plane in flight or when accidents happen. It’s still being debated like most things that relate to personal privacy and many people will no doubt be opposed to the idea of black box being implemented in their personal vehicles. The fact is that both Ford and General Motors are already using Black Box technology in around two-thirds of the models made, but they are referred to as “engravers”. Drivers can look forward to these “recorders” so they can tell police officers and insurance companies about car accidents, how fast you were driving, where you were driving that day, and much more.
