President Obama’s inaugural address on January 20, 2009 was filled with references that strongly resonate with the practice of conscious creation. With that in mind with Michelle Obama’s request to Caroline Kennedy, Maria Shriver, and Oprah to “imagine Barack Obama taking the oath” (as Oprah reported in a 2008 radio interview), it seems clear that the President of the United States and The first Lady realizes the power of our thoughts as the energy that creates our experiences in life.

Consider some excerpts from President Obama’s inauguration speech:

  • He mentioned keeping “eyes fixed on the horizon.” (Reflecting the deliberate creation principle of focusing on where you are going and what you want, rather than getting caught up in current problems.)
  • Regarding the upcoming challenges, President Obama said those challenges will be met, perhaps not in a short period of time, but assured that they will be met. (Reflecting confidence, commitment to purpose With allowing in the time frame.)
  • It rejects as false that we have to choose between security and our ideals. (Of course we can have both, reflecting unlimited and empowered thinking!)
  • President Obama said critics sometimes forget what happens when “imagination meets a common purpose.” Those who know the law of attraction know that synergy is created when people collectively put thoughts and ideas together (quantum leaps)!

Not just millions of Americans, but many people around the world viewed this transition of power in the United States with new hope and optimism for the future. Since we get what we vibrate, that elevated vibration collectively makes entirely new results possible, not just for the US, but for everyone on the planet.

As reported by a wide variety of citizens at various stages and circumstances in life, it appears that many people have new access to the feelings and energies of excitement, unity, progress, hope, and change.

With that, however, it is important to remember that our power to change our lives is within. No one else is responsible for our happiness and success. In fact, no one else can do it for us. Each of us is individually responsible for what we vibrate and therefore create.

Our personal vibratory power cannot be abdicated or given away. Whether you’re excited about the direction the newly elected US leader is taking (or not), what matters is where you take over the world with you Expectations.

Harness that power wisely by being mindful of your expectations and visions of tomorrow, making sure to point in the direction of what you want to unfold next!
