The easiest way to prevent pickle allergies is to make an appointment with your doctor for allergy testing. These tests will let you know exactly which preservative you are allergic to. To prevent future pickle allergies, simply avoid any foods that contain that particular preservative.

Common vitamins and over-the-counter products can help with allergies due to pickles such as vitamin A, vitamin C, beta-carotene, bananas, and pantothenic acid.
